We often use food and nutrition synonymously, but the reality is that despite being closely linked, there are important differences. While the mission of nutrition is to cover a physiological need, hunger; nutrition is responsible for nutrients providing the body with essential values for its proper functioning.
The increasing social and scientific advances bring us continuous novelties thanks to which we can improve our diet: healthier, safer, more hygienic, less contaminated and more enriched in vitamins and proteins. These are studies thanks to which we know how and in what way we can take better care of ourselves, give our body healthier products and thus achieve a greater and better quality of life.

Hence, research plays a fundamental role in what we can call new models of nutrition. This is how we understand it at InLeit, where the R&D team is the basis and cornerstone of a project promoted from the Coruña town of Curtis that will launch high-quality dairy proteins to the market with which to obtain products of high nutritional value, that may be present in specialized and functional foods.
A factory from which we want to anticipate the demands of an increasingly demanding society. In the near future we will be faced with a la carte nutrition, individualized to our needs and that responds to the objectives of each body. Specialties such as nutrigenetics or food nanotechnology will be key lines of research to achieve this goal.
Therefore, in the Inleit R&D team we work with different independent laboratories and with eight national and European reference research centers, with the aim of moving forward, with an eye on bioactive compounds, functional foods or the so-called FOSHU, which are foods with beneficial uses for health.
For this reason, in the InLeit R&D team we work with different independent laboratories with the aim of continuing to advance, with an eye on bioactive compounds, foods with beneficial uses for health. It is an essential part of the research of this company, whose main challenge is to obtain high-quality milk proteins that contribute their grain of sand in this great mission that is the nutrition of the future.
A nutritional model in which proteins are essential for our well-being, due to their high content of amino acids, essential in all vital processes due to their role in all metabolic processes.
For this we have two essential factors, an R&D team in continuous development and an excellent raw material.
The milk that arrives at the factory is collected within a radius of 50 kilometers from the factory, which means that it has excellent traceability, freshness and also comes from a region with low industrialization. And if to that we add the high technology with which it is processed in the Curtis factory, we are facing a purely natural and highly functional protein, two fundamental pillars in the New Nutrition concept, for which InLeit has opted as our trademark.
